Women In Business
The world of business has been known to be dominated by men. However, today business is no longer overseen by only men, but women as well. More and more women today are becoming entrepreneurs and stepping into the world of business. Although women are becoming more involved in business, there is still a lack of gender diversity and women still remain underrepresented in the workplace. Some companies have already become aware of the lack of diversity in their workplace and are now pushing to find a balance among their employees. I myself am a woman who is currently majoring in business management and I one day will be working in a business environment which is why it is important to me to address the issues involving gender inequality in the workplace. Thus, letting others become more informed and aware of these problems occurring in a business environment. Being aware of the issues happening can help one to identify and stop the problem when one comes across it in the workplace instead of letting the problem grow and continue. Throughout my blog, I will cover issues about what women experience in the workplace such as discrimination, sexual harassment, and women’s unequal representation.
